This is my first wool project, Snow Days. About a year ago I decided to try my hand at dyeing wools. What started out as a whim as become a part time business that I absolutely love. All of the pieces used for this wall hanging are my hand dyes. I started the blocks this summer, did a couple, then set it aside. Not really sure why I did that, but decided a few weeks ago that I need to get it out and get it finished. I have all of the appliqued blocks complete.
Here is the finished wall hanging. I finished all of the blocks and finally have them sewn together. I still need to put the backing on and do my quilting. I have it all ready to go. I am using a dark blue homespun on the back, I think I will also use that for the binding, not sure yet. Let me know what you think. Hope you enjoyed this visit to my blog and will check back.
